I recently got time to pop in and check out this unique and very cool store. I found myself walking through a furniture store that is a time capsule - everywhere I looked there was furniture out of my childhood, from the oh-so-1950's dinning room set my grandmother had to the I'm-so-cool 1980's office furniture my father had. All of it beautiful, well made, and entirely functional. The salesperson who greeted us and walked around with us was the soul of hospitality; he never once made us feel like we were taking up his time nor did he try to sell us on anything. He was a fount of information on each piece of furniture, and more than happy to show us how to adjust a piece or take us over to an example of something we were remembering from our childhoods. We ended up walking out without making a purchase, but with information on everything we'd been interested in...and I will definitely go back as soon as it's time to replace my home office chair, they have exactly what I want.
