Longtime patient, loyal. Did not care for the "new, one-time annual fee of $70" but kept Dr. John. Just visited him three weeks ago for routine visit, then couple weeks later broke my toe and rushed to ER at 4:30 am as the swelling was not subsiding and it was bent. Toe broken in two places had to be reset. Needed a referral from Dr. John to follow up with Podiatrist. According to insurance company (yes, I called), I did not need to visit Dr. John for a referral. Copay was $40 and the time it takes is unnerving. Especially with broken toe. Am changing to new doctor as much as I hate to. Policy they have sucks!
