I had Lasik over two years ago and I regret it. After having the procedure done I can no longer drive at night due to star-bursts. Every time I went in for a follow up I told the doctor about my inability to see at night, and he told me it was dry eyes. So for months I made sure to apply eye drops right before I had to drive anywhere. This did not help. I still cannot see any better at night, or even during a sunny day. If I forget my sunglasses I'm miserable all day because of my eyes. Everything is so bright and there is no solution for it.

They also did mono-vision on my mother, who after the accident has similar star-burst issues. She also regrets having the surgery done.

I would give anything to go back and not have this procedure done. Wearing glasses is not as bad as having to live in the dark all the time. I'm so upset that this will never be fixed and all I will ever hear from the doctor is that it is a dry eye problem. I see 20/20, but honestly its not worth it. The side effects have been so bad that it was the worst decision of my life. You only have one set of eyes.
