Lexington Hills at 2430 Cromwell Circle, Austin, Texas.

Good price. Great staff however for the past 5 years there must have been about 10 different and new individuals all the time. Lots of changes. Started fixing roads with new management without notice so some people had to park cars elsewhere. Roads not completed as yet. Horrible cracks in our apartment. I Reported it to management months before our baby was born in May. Finally when maintenance looked at it in July today I was told it will be repaired in about 3 to 6 hours. Then he went to the office and said it will actually take 2 days or so. We were not given proper housing and no where was set up for us to stay while the fix is supposed to happen. I called back multiple times to remind them We have a newborn and was told by Alma 'there will be no fumes'. Not sure if she worked with sheet rock and construction before to make that statement when the bag says it's TOXIC. I expressed disappointment in the way this is being handled and was told we can stay in a model apartment during the day but return to our fumes and unfinished apartment by night. We usually get a written notice after maintenance does a repair. Since this is more serious and require us to move my husband requested we get it in writing. We are now waiting for property manager Gaylan to get back to us. Very sad that they acknowledged that the cracks are really bad/ worse than originally explained but made no caring arrangement to have us more to another place while they fix the ceiling. Lexington Hills is otherwise a quiet and okay place to live. This situation is very sad and disappointing. Our lease ends in December but we were given the friendly notice for us to stay if agreed by August.
Hopefully all will go well with the ceiling.
