McDonald's at 7950 Burnet Road, Austin, Texas.

It's no accident that McDonald's calls their kid boxes Happy Meals because the grownup food is also happy stuff. I used the app to order even though I was inside the store because I was able to take my time and get a BOGO deal on the fish sandwich. McDonald's defined the world's standards for French fries (apparently France had little to do with it), and overall food was good in the sense that it perfectly expressed the McDonald standard recipes. The ambiance was comfortable and inviting, and I lingered and soaked up WiFi despite a TV forever showing the odious Fox Faux News channel.

I have been here many times and only been served once. I work late at a restaurant and after I get off work I figured I'd stop at the advertised 24hr McDonald's for a bite. They are always closed after 11. I don't know if they are short staffed or changed their hours but at the restaurant I work at we stay open as advertised even if we are short staffed. I do not recommend. Maybe I should contact corporate.
