Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen at 4301 W. William Cannon Dr., Bldg. D, Austin, Texas.

Cheddar has a comfortable restaurant. The design makes it quieter than most, allowing one to have a reasonable conversation, without having to raise one's voice above the din. I enjoy the sides, but have been disappointed in a couple of their "BBQ" items. I had previously tried their baby back ribs, which came out quite dry. This time, I ordered the BBQ chicken plate, and it came out overcooked, as well. These were leg quarters, which are pretty hard to ruin. The ends were actually charred. I have had non-BBQ items from the menu, which were fine.

Update: I went back to Cheddar's for lunch. I decided to give the ribs another try. This time they were quite moist and tasty. Glad we went back. By the way, the green beans are very nice.
